Eircom Adelaide Road, Dublin

Precision Electric was engaged by Eircom to upgrade the electrical services in their Adelaide Road exchange as part of their process of continual development.

Typically Precision Electric carried out the works in a live working environment where there was an extreme emphasis on:

• Safety.
• Minimising disruption to Eircom personnel.
• Ensuring that there was no disruption to services.

The works were of a heavy industrial power nature involving the removal of redundant main and distribution switchgear, cables and cableways and the replacement of same. The provision of an emergency generator backup was also a feature of this installation.
