Smurfit Institute of Genetics, Trinity College Dublin
Situated at the bottom of Dame Street and directly across from the Bank of Ireland (formerly the Parliament Buildings) Trinity College Dublin dates back to 1592 with the granting of a charter by Queen Elizabeth 1.
Whilst not dating back to the sixteenth century, Precision Electric's relationship with Trinity is nonetheless of long standing.
The building adds 6,000 square metres of advanced teaching and research laboratories to the Department of Genetics. The Smurfit Institute of Genetics is the most recent and final phase of Trinity College's east end.
